Title: 3D Game Developer 1
Location: Rapid City, SD (Onsite 5x/week)
Duration: 12-month contract (potential to extend)
Pay Rate: $20-25/hr W2 + Benefits, $27 C2C
Job Description:
We’re looking for a 3D Game Developer to join a team focused on producing high-impact visual experiences for training, marketing, and interactive simulations. You’ll help design and build apps for desktop, mobile, WebGL, and VR environments using Unity or Unreal.
Key Responsibilities:
Build interactive apps in Unity or Unreal
Program in C#, C++, or similar OOP languages
Balance 2–5 concurrent projects of varying scope
Participate in team collaboration and peer feedback
Apply scripting for materials, lighting, and animation
Contribute to cross-functional development cycles
Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
Entry-level to a few years of game/app development experience
Unity or Unreal Engine experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Demo reel or portfolio (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, MEL, Python
Exposure to Full Stack technologies and UI/UX design principles
Understanding of version control, shaders, and mechanical systems
Interview Process:
Initial 45-minute STAR interview with technical questions
Post-interview assessment (strict submission deadline)
Final round based on assessment and technical depth
