About the Role:

As the Associate Brand Manager for Famous Amos, you’ll be at the heart of driving brand growth, deepening consumer engagement, and expanding market share in the mainstream cookies category. You’ll help shape and execute brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and new product initiatives that align with both consumer needs and Ferrero’s enterprise goals.

 

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, R&D, Finance, Packaging, and Project Management—as well as external partners to bring brand plans to life across channels. You’ll use consumer insights and market data to inform decisions and contribute to the commercialization of new products, go-to-market strategies, and the development of annual and long-term brand plans.

 

You’ll also help execute shopper marketing programs and point-of-sale strategies that drive conversion at shelf, manage marketing budgets, and support integrated communication plans that resonate with consumers.

This role will report to the Senior Brand Manager and work from our Chicago, IL office on a hybrid schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform category, competitive, and brand-level analyses to inform strategy in the Center Store Cookies category and relevant adjacencies
  • Monitor and track brand performance using syndicated data, developing key actionable insights and sharing key takeaways with leadership
  • Lead commercialization projects from concept to execution, supporting all stage-gate activities from feasibility through launch
  • Interpret qualitative and quantitative consumer research and apply insights to guide brand strategy and innovation
  • Support development and execution of consumer activation plans, including PR, social media, and shopper marketing programs
  • Lead the Integrated Activation Team (IAT), ensuring alignment across cross-functional partners and flawless execution of brand initiatives
  • Support the Famous Amos purpose-platform, including coordination and execution of the brand’s annual grant program supporting Black entrepreneurs
  • Manage marketing budget and tracking to ensure efficient spend and alignment with brand objectives
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, persuasive presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Packaging, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain to deliver day-to-day business and support new initiatives
  • Partner with Trade Marketing to understand retailer dynamics, identify opportunities, and address potential challenges
  • Support artwork development for new items and marketing executions, including design briefs, creative direction, and production
  • Manage product portfolio across relevant systems (e.g., SAP, F8, Salsify, FamousAmos.com, Archway)
  • Maintain a pulse on category innovation and competitive activity to assess potential impact on the business
  • Collaborate with the legal department to safeguard brand assets and ensure compliance in third-party interactions
  • Manage relationships with external vendors ensuring quality output and cost efficiency
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines with attention to detail

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; master’s degree in business is a plus
  • 2-5 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
  • Solid understanding of business and marketing fundamentals (e.g., P&L, Market Share, pricing strategy)
  • Proficiency in syndicated data tools (e.g., IRI/Circana, Nielsen) and ability to distill insights into strategic recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; SAP knowledge a plus
  • Motivation to grow in a merit-based, fast-paced, multinational organization
  • Passion for working on a purpose-forward brand committed to making a positive impact, including initiatives like our grant program supporting Black entrepreneurs
  • Experience supporting go-to-market initiatives, product launches, and shopper marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple initiatives across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience working with external agencies and internal stakeholders (creative, media, public relations)
  • Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about food and consumer products

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $84,084.00 - $112,111.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
