Job Title: Associate, Investment Analyst
Location : San Francisco, CA (Hybrid, 4 days/week in new office)
Cresset is seeking an Associate, Investment Analyst to join our San Francisco-based Wealth Advisory Team. This role is designed for someone who thrives on problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technical depth, and who can support both Wealth Advisors and Client Service Associates in delivering exceptional client outcomes. We are looking for a candidate with 2-4 years of experience in an analytical and/or technical role , with a strong educational background that demonstrates intellectual rigor and quantitative ability. The ideal hire will be a go-to resource for data-driven insights, with the ability to break down complex problems, work confidently in spreadsheets and other tools, and learn new systems quickly. While the focus is technical, effective communication and collaboration skills are essential.

The team at Cresset is a San Francisco-based wealth advisory group that delivers a full-service family office experience to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Led by two Managing Directors, the five-person team brings decades of experience and manages approximately $2 billion in client assets across 120 relationships. They take a deeply integrated, multi-generational approach to wealth management, providing comprehensive family office services that combine institutional-level resources with a high-touch, boutique experience.
At the core of the team’s approach is a holistic, goals-based wealth strategy that coordinates all aspects of a client’s financial life. The team acts as a family’s personal CFO, integrating investment management, tax planning, estate structuring, philanthropy, and liquidity event preparation. They collaborate closely with clients' attorneys, accountants, and trustees to develop cohesive, long-term strategies that preserve and grow wealth across generations.
Beyond investment management, the team provides family education, succession planning, and governance solutions to help younger generations prepare for responsible wealth stewardship. Their access to private investments, lending solutions, and complex financial structures makes them a trusted partner for entrepreneurs, multi-generational families, and executives seeking an integrated, seamless, and sophisticated wealth management experience.

What We Offer
At Cresset, we focus on people first. As a service business, our people are our assets. Engaging our clients and employees is our highest priority. Starting base salary range: $115,000 - $135,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location. Cresset offers a competitive compensation package including an annual incentive and a benefits package to all full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, health savings accounts, short and long-term disability insurance, voluntary critical and accident insurance, and pre-tax parking and transportation programs. Aligning employee and organizational interests, all employees receive equity in Cresset.
