Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. As an Audio Systems Engineer , you will work closely with NBC Senior Director of Audio Engineering and other senior audio personnel to design and implement state-of-the-art audio systems for live sports broadcasts. This includes planning, designing, and testing all forms of broadcast audio systems—from analog to IP-based systems (ST2110)—in complex environments. Your expertise in current and emerging technologies from leading manufacturers will be critical in driving innovation and ensuring seamless operations.

Additionally, you will assist with integration projects involving signal flow planning, testing, commissioning, and training staff on new systems. Staying updated on emerging virtualization tools for remote workflows, immersive sound technologies, and wearable audio tech innovations is essential to enhancing broadcast quality.
