CFO | PE-Backed Facility Services | Chicago

Finatal is partnering with a private equity sponsor to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a $500m revenue facility services business - a national leader delivering missioncritical outsourced solutions to bluechip clients across 500+ sites.

This is a handson, highimpact opportunity for a seasoned PEbacked CFO to lead finance in a complex, peopleintensive environment. The incoming CFO will be a strategic partner to the CEO and COO, owning financial performance across a dispersed, largely hourly workforce where operational detail drives margin and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen and professionalize the finance function - upgrading systems, processes, and reporting to deliver scale and transparency.
• Lead FP&A, budgeting, and sitelevel performance management with a deep understanding of labor, cost, and productivity dynamics.
• Drive M&A execution and integration activity, preparing the business for a future transaction and the rigor of sponsorlevel reporting.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the business's financial stability and to optimize capital allocation.
• Collaborate with the executive team and sponsor to develop short and longterm financial strategy aligned with the investment thesis.
• Act as a strategic partner to CEO/COO/PE.

Requirements

• Proven success as CFO in a PEbacked, laborintensive or multisite services business.
• A track record of driving performance improvement and preparing for exit.
• Handson, collaborative leadership style with the ability to work closely across operational teams.
• Based in Chicago, open to relocation or regular travel.
