Job Description

Our client is seeking to hire Intermediate Level IT professionals who want to work in a Data Center environment. Our client is wanting to hire individuals with experience building out cable infrastructure and in cabling servers for clients. Candidates with experience in stacking and deploying servers are encouraged to apply! Our Data Center Technicians will be responsible for physical upgrades, deployments, and installations of IDF closets. New techs will also support GPU server deployments in a new data center. Responsibilities- -The Data Center Technician is expected to address customer inquiries via support tickets from inception through resolution with minimal or no supervision -Deployment of servers and cable infrastructure -Cable runs and initial fiber runs for new server deployments -Provide technical and operational support, including as it relates to colocation, connectivity, and network products and services; -Support internal networks, IT infrastructure, computers, electronics, and telephone systems; -Install and deploy IT and network hardware; -Make and run patch cables as well as verify testing cable paths; -Support maintenance of infrastructure, network equipment, and network services, including but not limited to break-fix work; -Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits; Experience Level: Intermediate Level (Minimum of 2 years of relevant data center experience. ) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
