Qualified candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams that turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions and business processes. They will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's databases to operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. Their role is critical in the organization, which relies heavily on data for its operations, decision-making, and strategic planning. This position will support our Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Data Scientists on data, platform, and Product-based initiatives.

• Ability to work with multiple developer teams to develop and tune queries
• Maintain and monitor the health of SQL and other database types
• Create and manage jobs within the AWS and GCP cloud environments
• Create and optimize table structures, indices, triggers, stored procedures, and table relationships
• Responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the database infrastructure
• Develop and interpret database models
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
• Experience with Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, and a bonus in knowing Redshift, Athena, or Kafka
