Duties

• Create weekly lesson plans that align with our themes
• Develop a creative program that is suitable for preschool children.
• Design lessons that help children identify colors, shapes, numbers, etc., and engage in arts and crafts.
• Organize nap and snack time, and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.
• Monitor children's progress and report to parents daily.
• Possess good communication skills and be willing to work well with others.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Requirements

• First Aid/CPR Training
• Ability to pass a background check
• 10 hour Virginia Preservice Training
• TB Test
• 6 months of supervised programmatic experience
• Highschool diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• MAT Training
• Food Handlers certificate
• Previous experience
• Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Associates Degree
