Job Description: Editorial Assistant Buy Side from WSJ, a shopping website dedicated to helping readers make smart decisions about how to spend their time and money, seeks an Editorial Assistant . This person will assist a team of editors and writers with the production of reviews and recommendations coverage. The editorial assistant will: Input stories into our content management system, ensuring proper layout of images, product cards, and features. Handle editorial updates such as ensuring product prices and rates are current daily. Create graphs and charts to help readers understand covered topics better. The ideal candidate will have: At least 1 year of editorial experience. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high editorial standards. Strong collaboration skills with other teams. This role is based in New York, with consideration for other locations based on merit. Key Responsibilities: Input multiple stories daily into the CMS, meeting editorial standards. Update stories with latest prices, rates, and data. Create visualizations such as graphs and charts. Assist in managing the editorial calendar. Collaborate with clients and partners. Skills & Requirements: 1-3 years of editorial experience, preferably in personal finance. Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong editorial judgment and time management skills. Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external clients. Adaptability to handle various projects.
