Frank Gillitzer Electric Company is seeking an experienced electrician to join our dynamic team. We work on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects--no two days are the same!   

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate 

• Five to ten years of electrical experience 
• Have a valid driver's license--must be approved by the company's insurance carrier to be able drive a company vehicle
• Able to interpret/analyze blueprints and wiring diagrams, utilizing this information on the jobsite
• Ensures compliance with the National Electrical Code and safety standards at all times and on all jobsites
• Proficient in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
• Able to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and contractors
• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and utilizes effective time management skills to meet project deadlines
• Willing to mentor, train and supervise helpers and apprentices
• Maintains accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job each day

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Paid overtime may be required.  Will be required to be on call, for one week, Monday-Sunday every 7th week. 

• Able to lift 75 pounds
• Able to climb ladders, work on roofs, work from boom truck or scissor lift
• Work may necessitate climbing in attics or small spaces
• Work may necessitate trenching or digging
• Work may require you to work outside in inclement weather
