General Production Worker

Join a dedicated team in the manufacturing of ink products for various industries. As a General Production Worker, you will operate machinery to fill and seal containers with ink, and assist in the Shipping/Receiving department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to fill and seal ink containers for packaging.
• Assist with tasks in the Shipping/Receiving department as required.
• Inspect products for quality assurance.
• Perform general labor tasks around the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working with substances such as solvents, resins, alcohol, lubricants, and dyes.
• Ability to work independently following written and verbal instructions.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in operating general office equipment such as a telephone, copier, fax, and computer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation and packaging is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a small warehouse/production environment with 5 to 10 team members at a time. Employees must be comfortable with the smell of ink and occasional contact with ink on skin and clothing. Uniforms and steel-toed shoes are provided. The environment is climate-controlled but can become hot and humid in the summer. Fans and air exchangers are used to mitigate the heat. The shift runs from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime. Flexibility is offered during hot and humid conditions, allowing earlier start and finish times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Lake Park, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
