🔧 Top Technical Skills for Chiller Mechanics
Advanced HVAC/R Knowledge : Deep understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, especially chilled water systems.
Chiller Diagnostics & Repair : Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption chillers.
Electrical & Mechanical Aptitude : Ability to read schematics, diagnose electrical faults, and repair mechanical components.
Refrigeration Principles : Strong grasp of thermodynamics, refrigerant cycles, and compressor operations.
Controls & Automation : Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), PLCs, and digital control systems.
