Job Description
The tax preparer is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses. This role involves analyzing financial information, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing advice on tax planning and strategies. You will also work closely with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure accurate and timely filing of returns. You will need a good understanding of tax codes, regulations and compliance. You must be able to explain the results to the clients and answer any questions. The hours for tax season (January 15th-April 15th) are Monday-Friday 9-6 and Saturday 10-4. There is opportunity for a permanent position during the off season and the hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10-4.
