King Transit Enterprise LLC is now hiring to fill three Independent Contractor Technician roles. Independent Furniture Assembly Technician, Independent Fitness Equipment Assembly Technician, and an Independent Fitness Equipment Repair Technician; including Peloton treadmills and bikes. We're seeking to contract with 1099 Furniture & Fitness Equipment Technicians for the most well-known furniture & fitness equipment brands. PLEASE NOTE This is a 1099 position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of age
• 1-2 years experience performing in- home/store/business delivery, repairs, assemblies, and customer service.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (addition & subtraction)
• No commercial license required
• Must have a relatively clean driving record for the past three years
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test
• Must have a clean background check
• Have the ability to safely load, move, and remove fitness equipment haul-aways with dolly and by hand
• Must be able to properly use cargo equipment to ensure safe deliveries to prevent damaging customer products en route to each designation
• Physically fit to climb stairs when necessary (including with an appliance dolly)
• Must be reliable and trustworthy
• Capable of working in any weather condition
• Willing to work 6 days per week
• Possess the skill to read and comprehend manufacturers manuals and instructions used in repairing equipment
• Knowledge and ability to evaluate troubleshoot analyze identify and repair equipment
• Must have your own transportation to and from site of repair and your own tools to complete the work accepted
• Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair or similar skills preferred

Benefits & Pay

• Compensation settlements are processed weekly
• Independent contractor compensation settlements are 70-75% of gross settlement
• Potential Earnings Per Week ($850-$1,500)
• This is a 1099 position and hourly rates do not apply
• We offer work every day of the week as orders become available to experienced professional contractors with excellent customer service skills and desire to provide a great customer experience
• Volume of work varies by area
