Corporate Banking Internship

The purpose of this internship is to equip the intern with on-the-job training and work experience within the Corporate Banking department preparing the intern for a career in the financial services industry. The intern will provide needed support to one or two departments throughout the duration of the internship by coordinating and completing special projects, while also participating in community service, networking, and training events.

Responsibilities

1. Complete assigned special projects within departments, working closely with department managers
2. Attend designated training classes
3. Participate in community service
4. Attend informative events within Trustmark designed to provide interns with general understanding of functional areas of the bank
5. Present an overview of department and projects worked on during internship program; provide an evaluation of departments, projects, and the overall program
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior college level/MBA
• Major: Business related
• Minimum GPA of 3.00
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and critical information
• Able to work in a team and take direction from others
• Able to give presentations on work experience topics
• Ability to display customer service skills
• Ability to perform basic math and/or accounting functions

Summer Internship program is located in Houston, TX.

Must be able to commit to working June 1, 2026- July 31, 2026
