Position Overview & Priorities

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join our dynamic team to lead the development of our React Native UI Kit. As a React Native Developer at CometChat, you will be instrumental in crafting high-quality, reusable, and scalable UI components that will integrate seamlessly into our clients' mobile applications. This role involves extensive coding and requires a deep understanding of the React Native ecosystem, proactive problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for mobile design.

Primary responsibility would be:

• Assist in developing and maintaining the CometChat UI Kit using React Native.
• Implement reusable and responsive UI components under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborate with the design team to bring mobile designs to life in functional components. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and take feedback constructively.
• Work closely with product and senior developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Learn and apply new React Native tools, libraries, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize UI components for performance across mobile devices.

Work Location

In Office, Chembur. Mumbai

Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities

• 12 years of hands-on experience with React Native development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6+ and React.js concepts.
• Familiarity with state management solutions like Redux or Context API.
• Basic understanding of mobile build tools such as Gradle, XCode, and Git.
• Exposure to native Android/iOS development and bridging native modules is a plus.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles for mobile devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
