Jr. Network Associate
OneSource is a leading provider of world-class technology services and solutions. We are passionate about delivering innovative solutions that help our clients achieve their business goals. We are seeking a motivated and driven entry-level Jr. Network Associate to join our growing staging team. As a key member of the staging staff, the Jr. Network Associate is responsible for preparing, configuring, and testing IT equipment and software before it's deployed to clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving, unpacking, and processing IT equipment for deployment.
Configuring network devices according to the client's specifications.
Testing network equipment to ensure it functions correctly and meets the client's requirements.
Identifying and resolving hardware and software issues that arise during the staging process.
Maintaining documentation of the configuration process, including serial numbers and other relevant information.
Providing quality control for the staging, configuration, and packing of assigned devices.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure the correct equipment is configured and shipped for clients.
Maintaining daily/weekly quota for staged devices based on client specifications.
Assist in the pack/ship process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of experience in a similar industry or role.
Technical background or desire to grow in technical field.
Beginner level understanding of hardware, software, and network technologies.
Accuracy in documenting and following staging procedures.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
Ability to identify and solve problems.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
