Gardener
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to maintain and enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in planting, pruning, landscaping, and general garden maintenance. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working with plants.
Responsibilities:
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
- Perform regular weeding, watering, mulching, and fertilizing.
- Prune and trim hedges, trees, and shrubs to maintain shape and health.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, such as pruners, trimmers, hoses, shovels, rakes etc..
- Identify and control pests and plant diseases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor spaces.
- Assist in landscaping projects, including soil preparation and installation of new plants.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred.
- Knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
- Ability to use and maintain gardening tools and machinery.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Valid Driver's License in good standing
-Legal to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Certification or training in horticulture or landscaping.
- Experience with irrigation systems and pest control methods.
