Description

The Director, Medical Affairs NA Cutaneous Oncology Lead will report to the AVP, Medical Affairs NA Cutaneous Oncology, and serve as a key medical resource in developing and implementing the medical affairs strategy for Cutaneous Oncology assets. Responsibilities include coordinating medical activities, leading advisory boards, managing phase IV clinical trial programs, chairing the investigator-sponsored studies team, supporting medical education programs, reviewing promotional materials, maintaining KOL relationships and consulting with Marketing, Health Outcomes, Access, Marketing & Sales, and positioning Cutaneous Oncology within the Sun portfolio. This field-based role requires travel across the nation.

Primary Responsibilities

• A. Medical Strategy Develops and executes phase IV trial strategy and medical affairs plans; provides medical input on global clinical development; collaborates with US HEOR; builds KOL network; collaborates on publication planning.
• B. Communications / Training Creates educational curricula for sales reps and MSLs; represents Sun Pharma in regulatory interactions and professional meetings; maintains medical credentials and stays updated on regulatory trends.
• C. Medical Communications Develops medical education strategy and publications; supports external medical education programs; reviews promotional materials as part of the MedicalRegulatoryLegal team.
• D. Regulatory / Safety Activities Ensures safety and adequacy of asset labeling; interprets regulatory guidelines; selects phase IIIb/IV investigators; guides results interpretation; represents promotional team and defines labeling strategy.
• E. Sales / Marketing Support Presents clinical data at advisory boards; provides medical input for marketshaping strategy, marketing plans, and promotional campaigns; supports sales and marketing objectives and ensures accurate medical communication.

Qualifications & Education

• MD, PhD, or PharmD
• 710+ years of research or pharmaceutical industry experience in immunology and/or dermatology; capable of managing direct reports
• Strong strategic mindset with understanding of physician, patient, and payer needs
• Proficiency in clinical trial design, oversight, and assessment; knowledge of GCP principles, product support activities, publications, and continuing medical education
• Subspecialty training in dermatology, rheumatology, or immunology preferred
