Floater Caregiver Job Description The Floater Caregiver implements individualized client care plans. They advocate patient welfare and serve as a liaison between clients and their assigned care manager. The Floater Caregiver interacts with Staffing Manager, Staffing Coordinators and Care Managers regarding assigned clients, unassigned clients, and their schedules. Floater Caregiver Job Duties and Job Requirements Hours:

• Available on-call 6 days a week
• 40 hours paid guaranteed
• Overtime pay = 1.5 times for hours worked with clients over 40 hours. Travel time is not calculated in overtime pay.
• $43,000 per year plus overtime

• The Floater Caregiver is paid weekly
• Paid at a rate of $43,000 per year not including overtime and holiday pay
• 40 hours per week guaranteed; in the event there isn’t a client shift scheduled, Floater may be asked to report to the office and receive instructions from the Staffing Manager on activity for the day.
• Cover last minute call outs for in-home care and staffing shifts in facilities
• Company car, fuel reimbursement or Auto Allowance of $100 dollars per week
• Transport clients and/or co-workers in personal vehicle or client’s vehicle
• Service the entire island of Oahu
• Work in all facilities ABC is contracted with
• Cover shifts in facilities as needed
• Available 5-6 days a week as needed. Days will be agreed upon hire and can be adjusted with manager’s approval
• Available from 6a-10:30p
• Optional health, dental and vision insurance
• 1-12 hour shifts per day or more as mutually agreed upon
• Multiple shifts per day as needed
• Available for day, night and occasional NOC shifts as needed

• Must be experienced and able to provide care for all types of clients and all chronic conditions (companionship to Hospice Care).
• Must pass all ABC exams for all levels of care.
• Must be able to drive to any location to provide care.
• Possess valid and current Drivers License and car insurance if applicable
• Transport clients and co-workers in personal vehicle
• Possess all state required documentation such as Nurse Aide school certificate and CPR/First Aide certificate. Documents must be current.
