POSITION PURPOSE:

Efficiently and courteously provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable, informational and to their satisfaction in accordance with Hilton Marco Island Beach resort & Spa standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS SUMMARY:

  • Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, including guest vehicles, taxi cabs, limousines, and buses, to ensure vehicles are legally parked and to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of traffic.
  • Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanlinessof parking areas/levels, and report any vehicles/safety hazards, unauthorized personnel, or potential security problems to the manager/supervisor. Re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity and ensure staff is informed.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift; secure bank. Process all payment types, Provide change to guests report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
  • Be familiar with and able to direct all Fire Life Safety procedures.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival according to established standards and procedures.
  • Use proper procedures to ticket cars according to security standards. Follow all cash handling procedures. Responsible for completing end of shift paperwork to properly record and track all tickets that were issued during the shift.
  • Address any pre-existing damage by indicating on the ticket and informing guest during the arrival process.
  • Be familiar with Marco Island area and offer additional information and/or assistance when requested.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the gate area and public area surrounding the gate.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Director of Engineering, Front Office Manager and/or the General Manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
