Job Summary:
The Physical Security Project Manager oversees the design, coordination, and implementation of physical security system projects , including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and related infrastructure across branch and corporate facilities. This role partners closely with Corporate Real Estate, architects, and general contractors to ensure seamless security system integration within ongoing construction or renovation initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong project management and communication skills, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and manage physical security projects for branches and corporate sites.
Oversee installation and integration of access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems .
Conduct site surveys and risk assessments for new construction and retrofits.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate security requirements into design and build phases.
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for alignment with corporate security standards.
Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to meet compliance, safety, and performance objectives.
Identify and escalate issues or potential risks impacting project timelines.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and system commissioning records.
Support post-installation testing, commissioning, and system handover.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of project management experience in a corporate or facilities environment.
Proven experience managing physical security operations and system deployments.
In-depth knowledge of access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems .
Strong understanding of risk management, access management, and IT security as it relates to physical security systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the banking or financial services industry .
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or security system design software .
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Additional Skills:
High attention to detail and accountability for deliverables.
Proactive and adaptable with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Facilities, and Security Operations.
Shift/Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Eastern Time)
