  • Partner with headquarters R&D and PM teams to resolve manufacturability issues and influence design-for-manufacturing standards.
  • Monitor production performance across lines; lead the team in conducting yield analysis, daily audits, and failure investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction, cycle-time optimization, and process automation.
  • Oversee tooling and equipment management, ensuring proper lifecycle planning, preventive maintenance, and spare part readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements, Underwriter Laboratories (UL) standards, and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Facilities, and Operations on manpower, space planning, and resource allocation to support production needs.
  • Represent the Process Engineering team in cross-functional and executive meetings, communicating project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills/Abilities: (Example of skills set)

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in process engineering, NPI readiness, yield optimization, and tooling management.
  • Ability to set priorities, delegate effectively, and drive accountability across multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with mastery of root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Solid understanding of OSHA, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), and Underwriter Laboratories (UL) standards.
