Our Client, a multinational toy manufacturing company is looking for someone to join their team as a Designer!

**This is a hybrid 3-month contract that takes place in El Segundo, CA **

Required Skills &Experience

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Graphic Design, preferably for apparel and other consumer products.
• Skilled in Graphic Design, especially vector-based design.
• Excellent in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.
• Must be very good with time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills to articulate all design ideas.
• Licensing experience is preferred but not required.­
• Requires strong knowledge of color theory, layout, composition, and typography.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Drawing and sketching to communicate ideas is a plus!

What You Will Be Doing

• Designer can work through design assignments with some guidance, but able to ideate quickly and work with the team to brainstorm and concept new and build off existing ideas.
• The design process includes conceptualization, trend research, consumer research, design presentations, product mockups in 2d or 3d, graphic design.
• The Designer stays abreast of competitive product and industry innovations.
• The contract Designer will, with direction from Lead Designers and Global Creative Director, develop assets and support graphic design needs for their portfolio of brands.
• Designer will create brand-right assets for consumer products style guides, asset packs, product mockups, and general graphic design support for the franchise marketing team.
• Designer will work closely with peers on the team to ensure assets are useable and applicable to all consumer products categories globally.
• Must have a strong sense of graphic design for products ranging from apparel, sporting goods, stationary, backpacks, etc. Designer must be strong in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint – primary design format is vector-based.
• Design within brands, themes, categories, and age ranges.
• Work with Lead Designers and Global Creative Director to understand and fulfill creative briefs and tackle creative tasks.
• Participate in the development phase of the style guide production.
• Actively participate in team brainstorm sessions (as well as cross-functional sessions) for new asset ideas, product development and innovation.
