Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Lead will oversee data-related QA efforts within a banking/finance environment, ensuring the quality and integrity of data projects through manual and automated testing practices. The role involves collaborative coordination with onshore and offshore teams, leading testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Lead QA activities for data projects, including test strategy, scripting, and defect resolution
• Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams to ensure quality standards are met
Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• SQL
• Hadoop
• Python development
• ETL testing
• HQL
Foundational Skills (Expected):
• Software testing methodologies
• Quality assurance processes
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
• Automation testing
• Full Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) knowledge
• Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute
