Job Description

Our client, a leader in the quality inspection industry, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Management team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Zelienople, PA

Pay Range: $16/hr

Shift: Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections on in-process products and finished goods according to documented test and inspection methods.
• Ensure compliance with product safety and specifications, GMPs, and ISO requirements.
• Identify in-process defects and address quality questions on the production floor.
• Review completed process travelers for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct or assist in product/process/internal audits and provide supplemental quality support to ongoing projects.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or professional certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience performing electro-mechanical inspections in an FDA or ISO regulated environment.
• Basic familiarity with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of mechanical and physical inspection techniques and tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.).
• Ability to perform various testing procedures and simple statistical analysis related to sampling.
