AFFINITY HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT is looking for a salesperson to assist customers at our retail store. As a retail salesperson, you will guide customers through the shopping process, from the initial greeting to the final purchase. By providing insight and support, you will help strengthen our customer relationships and convert new patrons into repeat shoppers.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, outgoing individual with a knack for engaging customers and resolving any concerns. If you are passionate about people and want to grow your customer service skills, we would love to hear from you!

Objectives of this Role

• Deliver exceptional service to our shoppers, resulting in repeat visits and long-term brand loyalty
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve store sales goals through suggestive selling and special promotions
• Inform patrons about product features and benefits, offering opinions and recommendations as appropriate
• Maintain a tidy shopping environment and welcoming atmosphere
• Represent our company with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Treat customers with respect and courtesy

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store
• Answer customer questions and assist with requests
• Execute purchases and returns at the cash register while checking for accuracy
• Restock and organize merchandise on the sales floor
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills, including the ability to give accurate change
• Friendly, professional demeanor
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Positive attitude
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
• Work Weekends

We offer on the job the training.

Must pass background screening for the Agency of HealthCare Administration (AHCA).

We are located in the Disston Plaza shopping center at 3511 49th St. N. St. Petersburg, Florida 33710. Affinity Home Medical Equipment has been in the same location for over 20 years.
