School Age Camp Teacher (Summer & Afterschool Programs)

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is hiring a School Age Camp Teacher/Assistant to support our engaging summer camp and after-school enrichment program. If you're creative, energetic, and love working with kids, this is your chance to build valuable experience in a dynamic, child-focused setting.

What You'll Do:

• Lead age-appropriate activities including games, arts & crafts, science projects, and outdoor play
• Supervise school-age children (ages 512) in a fun, structured, and inclusive environment
• Support homework time and smooth daily transitions between activities
• Promote teamwork, safety, and positive behavior
• Collaborate with teaching staff and communicate with families as needed

Who Are You:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with school-age children in group settings preferred (e.g., camp, afterschool, youth programs)
• Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about child development
• Great team player with a growth mindset and willingness to learn
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks
