Job Title: School Counselor
Location: Kingston, NH
Schedule: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join a school team in NH. The School Counselor will support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students by providing counseling services and collaborating with staff and families to create a positive learning environment. Caseload is approximately 40 students, with most receiving counseling once per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through direct services and targeted interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential counseling records, documenting services and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs and implement support strategies.
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to student support planning.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school climate by facilitating preventative programs and student engagement activities.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field (required).
• Valid NH certification for School Counseling (required).
• Previous experience providing counseling services in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 40 students and provide effective support, with most receiving services once monthly.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $40-50/hour (based on experience)
• Full-time
