Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Counselor position is available to support K-12 students with a caseload of approximately 30 students. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in guidance counseling, ready to provide essential social and academic support within a school setting. The position involves working 20 hours per week under a contract for the uping school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual and group counseling to students to support mental health, academic achievement, and social development.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and address student needs.
• Developing and implementing intervention strategies and guidance programs.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining confidential records.
• Assisting with crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate munity resources.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certification or licensure as a school counselor or guidance counselor.
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational environment.
• Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a small caseload efficiently and passionately.

Location: Cordele, GA, with consideration for candidates in surrounding areas.
