As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting screening procedures, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining visible and attentive, while also providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or unusual behavior, according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as part of daily screening and security-related duties.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
