Aspen Careers is partnering with a local law firm on the following career opportunity Position Title: Senior Corporate Paralegal About The Firm: A premier, full-service law firm with diverse practice groups, providing extensive expertise across various legal areas. Benefits and Perks: 401k Health, dental & vision insurance, HAS, FSAs Life and disability insurance PTO and Paid Holidays Paid parental leave The Opportunity: Maintain corporate minute books, draft minutes and consents, update annual actions, manage share ledgers, and prepare share certificates. Coordinate document imaging, manage corporate databases, file formation documents and amendments, order lien searches, and summarize results. Assist attorneys in M&A transactions, manage due diligence lists, organize closing binders, conduct research via Lexis/Westlaw, and docket corporate deadlines. Proofread and review documents, prepare PowerPoint presentations, organizational charts, timelines, and handle additional assigned tasks. Background Profile: Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills; preferred (but not required) knowledge of corporate law, particularly Ohio Corporate Law; ability to interact professionally with clients and attorneys. Commitment to excellence, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure. Experience with Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and document management systems; ability to type 70+ WPM accurately. Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends; ability to lift at least 10 lbs and sit for extended periods. A minimum of five years of experience in a paralegal position. A degree at the associate's or bachelor's level is preferred. ASPEN CAREERS, LLC
