Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and reconcile accurate product cost information, including BOMs, routings, and standard costs (materials, labor, and overhead).
• Monitor and report variances between standard and actual costs, providing insights to Operations and Finance leadership.
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory counts.
• Lead and coordinate periodic physical inventory and fixed asset counts to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing updated cost data across product lines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial) to analyze new product costing, margin performance, and unit economics.
• Contribute to the improvement of costing systems, internal controls, and ERP implementations.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting or plant controllership experience in a process manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and standard costing systems.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (experience with BOMs, routings, costing modules highly preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
