GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customerobsessed, and resultsoriented Senior UX/UI Designer. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering design solutions. Collaborate with customers, engineers, and product management to determine design requirements, create mockups, user workflows, conduct user research, and provide feedback.

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing highquality solutions that put the customer at the center and achieving outcomes that move our business forward. You will work directly with product management to develop solutions that achieve our customer and business needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary design and research team that values people, humancentered design, and a growth mindset.

This position is a hybrid role that requires you to be on site 2-3 days a week at one of the following locations: Chevy Chase, MD; New York City, NY; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Seattle, WA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs.
  • Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions that evolve and enhance the product experience.
  • Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization and support early product definition.
  • Advocate for the customer through humancentered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing.
  • Facilitate and participate in workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align with business needs.
  • Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specifications.
  • Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to market in partnership with engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with a Masters degree) with User Experience design.
  • Experience designing for crosschannel (e.g., responsive web and native mobile interfaces).
  • Demonstrate ability to work across design processes (e.g., user research, user experience design, UI design and specifications).
  • Ability to collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma) to deliver concepts and enable successful collaboration across teams.
  • Familiarity with working in an established design system and agile development teams.
  • Experience with brand design and applying brand systems consistently across digital products and interfaces.

Annual Salary

$104,550.00 - $172,200.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidates work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
