🕒 Schedule

Start/End Dates: 06/30/25 - 09/28/25

• Shift: 07:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
• Evening on-call duties required Monday through Thursday
• Must be reliable and ready to respond when needed

🏥 Position Overview

As a trusted clinical team member, you will play a critical role in supporting patient health and safety across various units. You'll collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, deliver exceptional care, and be a reliable presence during evening on-call coverage.

• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to on-call needs
• Strong communication, clinical skills, and a commitment to excellence
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic care environment
• Compliance with all onboarding and health documentation requirements

Medical Laboratory Technician Job Duties

1. Collect Specimens
   • Obtain blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluid samples from patients using proper collection techniques.
2. Perform Laboratory Tests
   • Conduct routine tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.
3. Operate Laboratory Equipment
   • Use automated and manual equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, analyzers, and incubators.
4. Analyze Test Results
   • Examine and interpret test results under supervision or in accordance with protocols; identify abnormalities or inconsistencies.
5. Record and Report Data
   • Accurately document test findings and report results to physicians or healthcare providers.
6. Ensure Quality Control
   • Follow quality assurance procedures; perform equipment maintenance and calibration; participate in proficiency testing.
7. Maintain Lab Safety and Cleanliness
   • Follow safety procedures to handle infectious materials and hazardous chemicals; maintain sterile and clean work environments.
8. Inventory and Supply Management
   • Order and stock laboratory supplies; ensure adequate inventory of testing materials and reagents.
9. Assist in Research and Development (if applicable)
   • Support research projects or clinical trials by processing samples and collecting data.
10. Follow Regulatory Compliance

• Adhere to federal, state, and institutional regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and laboratory standards.

$20.00 Hourly taxable
$71.00 OT Hourly taxable
$500.00 Meals & Incidentals Per Diem (Tax Free)
