Job Description & RequirementsRN Position Job Notes:
\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nRN - Med Surg PCU Adult Stepdown
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process
\n• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques
\n• Obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays and other diagnostic tests
\n• Plan and implement written care plans under physician direction
\n• Work every other weekend as required
\n• Holiday availability required
\n• Must wear navy blue scrubs
\n• Bachelor's degree required
\n• Valid New Hampshire RN license required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• ACLS certification required
\n• NIHSS recommended
\n• Must have PCU/Stepdown experience with telemetry experience
\n• 3 years previous nursing experience preferred
\n• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills required
\n• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
\n• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation
\n• Facility reserves right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
