Focus Staff is seeking a travel Physicist for a travel job in Tallahasssee, Florida.
ABR Certification Required w/FL License Schedule 40 hrs/wk, on site, 8am 430pm but flexible if earlier/later preferred. Patient volume Currently 80-90 pts/day across 3 linacs Equipment Varian environment (Edge, TrueBeam, Novalis machines with Aria/Eclipse v16.1) Responsibilities This is a support role. They will be able to defer to experienced colleagues with any issues. Types of radiation therapy procedures performed EBRT (3D, VMAT, SRS, SBRT) and HDR (gyn only) Clinic offer High Dose Radiation Yes, HDR with Bravos afterloader. It s limited to gynecological cases (cylinder & T&O) averaging ~5 pts/month On-site dosimetrist There is a at least one full-time, on-site dosimetrists during treatment hours ( and 2 or more most hours of the day). No satellite clinics, but remote dosimetrists as well (hybrid schedules).
