\nRadiation Therapist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 4/10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with flexible timing based on patient volumes
\n• Always work with 2 therapists per machine maintaining 1:1 patient ratio
\n• Average daily census of 80 patients with 80 visits per day
\n• Treat patients of all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, and Louisiana State License
\n• Preferred certification: ARRT R
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• No call requirements
\n• Must be willing to participate in Emergency Team assignments during emergency events
\n• 40 hours of orientation provided over 5 days
\n• Work with specialized equipment including Varian True Beam, Varian Trilogy, GE CT Simulator, and Elekta Flexitron HDR Unit
\n• Perform various radiation therapy procedures including external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and CT simulation
\n• Must live over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
\n• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submission
