\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nRadiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work day shift 5x8 schedule, either 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (depending on patient load)
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n• 13-week assignment length
\n• No weekend hours or call requirements
\n• Treat approximately 65-70 patients per day in department
\n• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
\n• Use sophisticated radiation therapy equipment including Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and new Radixact (installing by August 2024)
\n• Work with Mosiaq and EPIC electronic medical record systems
\n• Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
\n• Perform patient setup and imaging procedures
\n• 2 years of radiation therapy experience in hospital setting required
\n• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ARRT, and RRA
\n• Experience with linac treatment and patient communication skills essential
\n• Elekta workflows can be taught on-the-job
\n• Black scrubs required (colored scrubs not acceptable)
\n• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
\n• No float requirements
