**Job Title: Women’s Services (OB) RN - Night Shift**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Women's Services (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. This role requires a strong background in labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NY nursing license and possess the necessary certifications to provide exceptional care to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide high-quality nursing care in the labor room and postpartum units.
- Care for patients in a Level 1 nursery setting, ensuring the wellbeing of newborns.
- Administer medications and drips, including Pitocin, magnesium, routine fluids, and OB-specific medications.
- Monitor fetal heart rates using GE and Phillips fetal heart rate monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records using EMR systems, specifically Meditech and GE.
- Support patients as well as their families during labor and delivery, and throughout postpartum recovery.
- Participate in regular training and maintain current certifications.

**Qualifications:**

- 1+ years of nursing experience in labor and delivery/postpartum settings.
- Current NY RN license in hand.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; fetal monitoring certification preferred.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

**Work Environment:**

- Equipped with 5 labor rooms, a nursery, and 8 postpartum beds.
- Focus on the care of GYN, female orthopedic, and female bariatric cases as census allows.
