Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our fabrication team. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality welding operations that meet ASME standards while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily welding and fabrication operations. * Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, and API codes. * Review and enforce Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). * Inspect welds and coordinate with QA/QC for NDT and documentation. * Train and evaluate welders on techniques, safety, and code requirements. * Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies. * Maintain accurate records of welding activities and certifications. * Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes. * High school diploma or equivalent. * 3-5 years of welding and supervisory experience. * Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and ASME codes. * Proficient in reading technical drawings and documentation. * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to pass MVR, background check, and drug screen. * Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
