Mobile Vehicle Mechanic – Hit the Road and Keep Fleets Moving
Location: Greater Bay Area

Compensation: Up to $45/hour + performance bonuses

About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with Star Fleet Mechanics , a high-performance field repair company that services Amazon delivery vehicles throughout the Bay Area. This isn’t your average shop tech job. As a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic , you’ll be out in the field—handling breakdowns, running diagnostics, and making critical repairs wherever the vehicle is parked. From roadside fixes to parking lot overhauls, your shift will be packed with hands-on challenges that demand focus, grit, and mechanical confidence.

About the Role
If you like being outside, working independently, and solving problems on the fly, this role is for you. You’ll tackle everything from routine maintenance to serious repair work—often without direct supervision. Star Fleet Mechanics is looking for someone dependable, self-motivated, and ready to jump into tough situations without flinching.

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM, Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability may be required based on demand

What You’ll Do

Field-Based Mechanical Repairs

• Diagnose and repair Amazon delivery vehicles in the field
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brake pads, coolant systems, belts, and more
• Handle advanced repairs: electrical systems, alternators, starters, and engine issues
• Work outdoors in all conditions—rain, wind, cold, or heat

Teamwork & Self-Direction

• Operate with a small, focused team to deliver high-quality repairs quickly
• Work independently and confidently in high-pressure environments
• Stay efficient while maintaining accuracy and safety

What You Bring

• Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair (professional or hands-on)
• Strong work ethic and comfort with physical, outdoor work
• Bonus: Military background or similar mindset—adaptable, reliable, disciplined
• Willingness to learn and improve on the job
• Own tools preferred, though specialized equipment is provided

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying outdoor conditions
• Capable of bending, twisting, climbing, and working in tight or physically demanding spaces
