Job Description

Position Title: Scrum Master Sr

Position Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote

• Pittsburgh PA 15222 (Most preferred)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Guide and coach the team in applying Agile and Scrum practices and values to meet customer needs, ensuring all tasks are performed in alignment with Scrum processes.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups and support the team in adhering to the Scrum delivery framework.
• Perform traditional project management duties, including scope definition, resource planning, status communication to clients and partners, and risk/issue management.
• Lead discussions and meetings with vendors to coordinate any support required by the team.
• Track, analyze, and report Agile metrics, addressing outliers and preparing leadership-level updates.
• Manage and monitor technology risk metrics for supported applications.
• Ensure product quality expectations are clearly defined and understood across the team.
• Collaborate with the team to schedule workincluding defect remediation and refactoringwhile preventing the buildup of technical debt.
• Partner with integration teams to track and manage cross-team dependencies.

Must-Have Technical Skills (68 years of experience required)

• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Familiarity with Java-based applications (e.g., Flex).

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent work experience.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• ScrumMaster certification preferred but not required.
